Recently, I became a part of the SO.SHIBA family, a website that promotes animal responsibility, rescue, & community outreach from Arizona & beyond. This is a great website that really takes pride & loving care in rescuing Shiba Inus & their pet pals as well as offering cute Shiba-inspired products for pet lovers all over. SO.SHIBA is a small family consisting of four animal lovers & two super cute Shiba pet pals (Ebisu & Takumi)! They are a part of the Community Awareness Responsibility Excellence project (C.A.R.E.).
SO.SHIBA works with TumbleTees, a non-profit organization who works to fight youth homelessness in Phoenix, Arizona. TumbleTees equips the youth homeless community with self-help & employment skills, so they can stay off the streets. When you make a purchase at SO.SHIBA, a portion of the proceeds with be donated to a Shiba Rescue organization that helps animals in need & educates about animal care/responsibility.

I’ve written one of these posts before. It’s similar to US Weekly magazine’s “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” list that all the celebrities fill out each issue. My list will be a little different. In honor of the Christmas/Winter season, I will compile my list in a tribute to Julie Andrews’ Sound of Music song “My Favorite Things“. Here it goes…
MY FAVORITE COLOR(s): Blue, White, Pink, & Gray
MY FAVORITE MOVIE(s): Secretary (Any Wes Anderson movie comes in close second.)
MY FAVORITE CAR(s): Audi R8 (I do not enjoy convertibles, so I do not like the R8 Sypder.)
MY FAVORITE ANIMAL(s): Rabbits, Foxes, Birds, & Dogs
MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT WINTER: sitting by a roaring fireplace when it’s raining outside
MY FAVORITE MUSIC GENRE: Almost all genres, except Gregorian Chanting. I will try any type of music except that!
MY FAVORITE SPORT(s): Baseball, tennis, F1 racing, Rally racing, pigskin football, &/or soccer/fútbol. Some playing. Mostly watching.
MY FAVORITE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY(ies): Walking, Hiking (not super rugged mountain terrain, please), Picnics, & Camping
MY FAVORITE INDOOR ACTIVITY(ies): *Ahem!*…Ok. Reading, Watching movies, Playing games, Wrapping gifts, & Letting my imagination run wild & rampant

Today’s song of the day:
Alas, I didn’t cut this laser-cut figure myself. I bought it at Crate And Barrel, however, I did spruce this figure up a little with glitter, Mod Podge, & bows. I took a great item & made it even greater…LOL!
Let’s jump right into the extremely easy project. Here is a picture of the “before” figure:
The materials I used:
1. White glitter glue for the chest area
2. Black glitter glue for the eyes & accents
3. Gold glitter craft for the main body
4. Mod Podge to seal the glitter
5. Bow stickers for accents
I painted the fox figures with the glitter paint & glue, making tiny black dots for the eyes. I added a black bow sticker to make a male figure & a pink bow sticker to make a female figure. I finished it up by applying Mod Podge to seal in the glitter & keep it from flaking off. Easy, right?
Now, here is my finished project:
Aren’t they so cute? I love foxes… Cheers!
