Well, what can I say? This title pretty much sums it all up. I must regretfully say that I was no longer able to stay in the apartment, which I thought was perfect for my lifestyle. I truly loved the apartment. I just could not justify the ridiculously insane rent increase & outrageous fee hikes. So, I decided to move to a new more affordable place.
I just finished moving out of the apartment & have finally moved into a new place. It’s not the most ideal situation at the moment, but I am very happy/satisfied with the new living arrangements. I said before (in previous entries) that I am trying (probably not as hard as I’d like) to regularly update this blog. Oh boy! I sure spoke too soon. After all the furniture moving & the removal of old unwanted junk…I think we are finally settled in our new place. Now, I can finally get back to the business at hand.
Hey, blog. I’m back with a slight vengeance.
I’ve been so busy lately, from decorating my new apartment and settling in/down. I never fully realized how busy one can get doing even the simplest of day-to-day chores.
Going from one load of laundry every two weeks, to one load of laundry every 4-5 days is just baffling to me! (It’s not that I’m being OCD. Our in-house washer/dryer unit is super tiny & can’t hold more than 5 t-shirts without filling to the top.) Also, my apartment may only be 700 sq. feet in size, but it really takes quite a bit of furniture to fill the space…
All in all, I can’t wait for all the “dust to settle”, so I can settle down & finally relax & enjoy my space.
So, I finally moved into my new place. I don’t really know what to say except that I am loving my new life & my new apartment. It’s a one-bedroom one-bathroom (approx.) 700 sq. ft. space, but it’s what I call “home”. I still miss living at my parents’ place every now and then, but I am looking forward to the new path that is ahead of me, waiting to be traveled… Here are some pics of my new pad:
